Cover image display rules

A course cover image can be displayed in two different formats:

  • 16:9 on the search results page, on the newsfeed, and on the session pages.
  • Large format (980x250 pixels) on the course homepage.

Use a JPEG, PNG, or GIF image. SVG images may appear small or render incorrectly in some views. Avoid images that contain text.

In large format, the cover image is darkened with a dark gradient, with the following CSS characteristics:

background: linear-gradient(180deg, rgba(24,25,29, 0.3) 0%, rgba(24,25,29, 0.9) 100%);
