Add LTI content to a course

Before you can add LTI content to a course, a group admin must connect an LTI tool for your group.

Add LTI content

1. At the top of the homepage, click Courses.
2. On the right of the course row, click Edit.
3. In the left sidebar, below the list of existing activities, click Add activity.
4. Scroll to the External content section, and select the integration.
5. Paste the Content URL of the LTI resource.
6. On the bottom right, click Add content.

LTI content is identical across all language versions of a course, and can't be copied to another course.

Play LTI content as a learner

Learners play LTI content from within the course, without logging in to the tool separately.

• The content opens in an iframe, in the same tab or a different tab depending on how the group admin configured the tool.
• Learners can expand the iframe to full screen.
• The course's forum is disabled for LTI activities.
• Learners can't review LTI content after completing it. To see it again, they must retake the course.
• On mobile, learners see a message directing them to complete the activity on a desktop. Full mobile support isn't available yet.
