Add requirements to a course

Admins, editors, and contributors can select courses or paths that learners must complete before starting another course. Those conditions are called requirements. You can also add requirements to paths →

When the course is published in a catalog, those requirements determine if the learner can see it.

Enrolling users in a path session does not take precedence over requirements: a learner enrolled in a path session must complete the requirements before being able to play the session.

Users must reach 100% progress in each of the requirements.

1. At the top of the homepage, click Courses.
2. Click on a course.
3. On the top right, click Course Settings.
4. Under Requirements, click Course or Path.
5. Select the elements, then click Confirm.

You can remove the elements by clicking X on the right of their name in the list.
