Admins, editors, and contributors can select courses or paths that learners must complete before starting another path. Those conditions are called requirements. You can also add requirements to courses →
When the path is shared in the catalog of a group, those requirements will determine if a learner from that group can play it. The learner can still find and see the path in their catalog.
Enrolling users in a path session does not take precedence over requirements: a learner enrolled in a path session must complete the requirements before being able to play the session. Users must reach 100% progress in each requirement.
To add a requirement to a path:
- At the top of the homepage, click Paths.
- On the right of the path, click
Edit.
- At the bottom of the edit path page, enable Requirements.
- Click + Path or + Course.
- Select the elements, then click Confirm.
To remove a requirement, click to the right of its name in the list and select Remove.
