Track general statistics for multiple paths

Users who can edit a path can see its statistics. This feature is accessible only on the web app.

  • Owners and platform admins can view statistics for all users across all paths.
  • Group admins can view statistics for their group members on paths owned by their group and all its path sessions.
  • Coaches can view statistics for their group members on path sessions owned by their group.
  • Editors can view statistics for paths of which they are the main author or a co-author, and paths owned by their group. They can see data for all users in their group who played the content.
  • Contributors can view statistics for paths of which they are the main author or a co-author. They can see data for all users in their group who played the content.
  • Path session instructors can view statistics for all learners on any path session where they are an instructor or co-instructor.

The Paths list page compiles general statistics about multiple paths.

View the paths' statistics for one group

To view the list of paths owned by one group or shared in the group's catalog, within the bounds of the group visibility rules:

  1. In the left sidebar, click on a group.
  2. At the top of the group’s page, click Paths.
  3. Optional: Click Filter to filter the path list by Status, Tags, Source, and Author and Co-author.

The filters applied to the path list are displayed as labels at the top of the path list. Click on an active filter label to edit it.

Within a group page, clicking Paths at the top will list the following paths:

On the top left, above the search bar, clicking Paths sessions will list the following sessions:

  • Sessions owned by the group
  • Sessions shared in the group catalog
  • (But not path sessions in which the group is enrolled, unless they also meet one of the criteria above)

View the paths' statistics for multiple groups

To view the list of paths owned by different groups or shared in the catalog of multiple groups, within the bounds of the group visibility rules:

  1. At the top of the homepage, click Paths.
  2. Optional: Click Filter to filter the path list by Status, Tags, Source, and Author and Co-author.
    The filters applied to the path list are displayed as labels at the top of the path list. Click on an active filter label to edit it.

Download the general statistics for multiple paths

To download the general statistics for multiple paths from the path list page:

  1. At the top of the homepage, click Paths.
  2. Click More actions, then click Download.
  3. When prompted, click Download.

The downloaded file displays one line per path. The columns are displayed in the default order of the path list page.

You can also create a path custom report from the path list page with detailed information for each user per path. For more information on custom reports, see Export platform reports.


About the general statistics for multiple paths

The Paths list page displays a table with one line per path. The following columns can be resized and reordered:

Column title Description
Path name Name of the path.
Steps Number of courses and paths steps in the path.
Learners Number of learners enrolled in the path.
Sessions Number of open and ended sessions in the path.
Completion Percentage of learners having completed the path out of all enrolled learners.
Avg. score

Average score of learners having completed the path.

Displays - if no learner has completed the path.

Median time

Median training time for learners having completed the path.

Displays - if no learner has completed the path.

Last modified Date when the path was last modified.
In library

Availability of a path in the library of the group:

  • Yes: The path is available in the library of the group.
  • No: The path is not available in the library of the group.

This column only displays in the path list page of a group.
