Extended visibility expands which content group admins and coaches can access statistics for. It doesn't change whose data they can see.
Without extended visibility, group admins and coaches access the statistics of content linked to their own group. With extended visibility, they also access the statistics of content linked to the groups publicly connected to their group:
- Courses: Group admins and coaches can access the statistics of courses shared in the catalog or library of a publicly connected group. Ownership isn't enough: they can't access the statistics of a course owned by a publicly connected group unless it's also shared in that group's catalog or library.
- Path sessions: Group admins and coaches can access the statistics of path sessions owned by a publicly connected group.
- Paths: Group admins can access the statistics of paths owned by a publicly connected group, and of all their sessions.
Coaches see the data of learners in the groups they coach. Group admins see the data of learners in their group and its subgroups.
