View statistics for legacy programs

  • Updated

Who can use this feature?

Accessible only on the Web Application.

Programs have been removed from the platform and can no longer be created or assigned. The feature has been replaced by Paths, which offer a more modern and flexible way to organize training.

If your organization used Programs in the past, you can still access historical data and reporting.

Create a custom report

The simplest way to get historical data for your programs is through a custom report. There are a number of ways to view historic program data through custom reporting.

Below, you'll find the details for creating custom reports around program sessions.

If you are looking for non-session reporting, refer to Available columns and filters for custom reports →

Available filters for Program sessions custom reports

Filter Type Description Additional Filters
Date filters When using a static date range, the export will only include data between the selected dates and times.
When using a dynamic date range, the export will automatically update to include data from a selected time frame relative to the current date, such as the last seven days.
-
Enrollment type Limits the exported data by Self enrollment or Assigned trainings.
By default, the report selects All enrollment types.

Groups selection Limits the exported data to only users belonging to the selected group.
If no group is selected, the report will contain data for all groups that the exporter can view the data of.
-
Sessions filter
(Programs)
The export will only include data from the selected program sessions.
  • Tags
  • Session dates
Users selection

Limits the exported data to include only the users you specifically select. When you filter by users, you are choosing a fixed list of users that does not change once the report is saved or automated.

If no user is selected, the report will contain data for all users that the exporter can view the data of.
This filter is cumulative with the Groups filter. For example, if you used the Groups filter to select Group A and the Users filter to select the user John Doe who does not belong to Group A, the report will show all users from Group A and John Doe.

Note: This method is appropriate for one-time reports. If you anticipate automatic updates, for example if you create an audience to enroll learners in a path session, we recommend using other filters, such as the Groups filter.

  • User status
  • Custom Fields
  • Registration date
  • Last activity date
  • Group
After filtering users in the dialog box, don’t forget to click Select all to include all the users who match the filter in the report.

View the old dashboard

This page will eventually be removed, but it can be used as a way to view statistics and download reports for programs.

Learn more about the old dashboard →

Download questions statistics from a program

You can create a custom report and export the statistics of one or several questions from a program in the CSV format.

  1. At the top of the homepage, click All.
  2. At the top left of the homepage, click bar.svg Statistics.
  3. Open the Custom reports tab.
  4. Click + New report.
    • (Optional) Under Report settings, in the General section, enter a File name* for the export file. If you do not specify a file name, the export file is named export.csv by default.
  5. In the Type section, select Questions.
  6. In Sessions filter, select program sessions.
  7. At the top right of the page, click Download → Now.

You can also click Download → Via email to receive a download link for the file by email. We recommend that option if the direct download takes too much time.

See also Download answers to an opinion question.

The file will display one line per answer.

  • If a learner answered the same question twice, it will show as two lines in the file.
  • If the answer was made in a course attempt that did not reach the minimum score defined in the program template, it will not be linked to that program (the fields Session, Session ID, Program template and Program template ID will be empty in the export). We therefore suggest not filtering on sessions if you want to display unsuccessful attempts for a question.

View the results of a question in a specific program session

  1. At the top of the homepage, click Program Sessions.
  2. Click on a session.
  3. In the section Detailed results, below the course containing the question, click VIEW DETAILED STATISTICS.
  4. In the section Score by question, click on a question.

You can click on a line to open the interface of the question, with the answer of the learner.

If the question is an open-ended question with assessment criteria, the dashboard displays an additional column Average grade on assessment criteria.

View the results of a question in a specific program template

  2. On the right of the name of a program template, click bar.svg Results and statistics.

  4. In the section Score by question, click on a question.

You can click on a line to open the interface of the question, with the answer of the learner.

If the question is an open-ended question with assessment criteria, the dashboard displays an additional column Average grade on assessment criteria.

Download the list of learners with program certificates
