Add an opinion question to a course

  • Updated

Opinion questions do not count in the score of the course; their typical use case is for polls and surveys.

You can use two types of opinion questions:

  • multiple choice questions (Learners must check boxes);
  • open questions (Learners must submit a text and/or a document).

Those questions will only be visible in courses within program sessions or path sessions. If a course with an open-ended question is played via the Catalog, the question will not be visible.

Create an opinion question

  1. At the top of the homepage, click Courses.
  2. Click on a course.
  3. In the left sidebar, click Add a question.
  4. In the section Opinion questions, select Multiple choice (opinion) or Open question (opinion).
  5. Enter the title of the question.

Download answers to an opinion question

You can download answers to an opinion question made in a specific session, or in all sessions.

You can also view answers to a question (without downloading them) in the stats page of a program session.

The format of the downloaded file will be the same as a question export.

From a specific session

  1. At the top of the homepage, click Program sessions.
  2. Click on a session.
  3. In the section Detailed results, on the bottom right of the course with the opinion question, click VIEW DETAILED STATISTICS.
  4. In the section Opinion questions, on the top right, click Download.

From all sessions

  1. At the top of the homepage, click Courses.
  2. On the right of the name of a course, click bar.svg Results and statistics.
  3. In the section Opinion questions, on the top right, click Download.
