Edit a path session

Edit the title of a path session

  1. At the top of the homepage, click Paths.
  2. On the right of a path, click Edit pen.png.
  3. If there is more than one path session, select a session in the Sessions sidebar.
  4. In the Enroll learners section, click the Title field.
  5. Enter the new title.
  6. Click outside the field.

Change the start and end date of a path session

  1. At the top of the homepage, click Paths.
  2. On the right of a path, click Edit pen.png.
  3. If there is more than one path session, select a session in the Sessions sidebar.
  4. In the Enroll learners section, click the field Start or End.
  5. Select a new date and hour, then click outside the field.
    • You can clear the end date by hitting ⌫ on your keyboard.

Change the owner group of a path session

You can change the owner group of a path session, to a group where you have the coach or administrator role.

Coaches and administrators of the new group will be able to edit, share or delete the path session.

  1. At the top of the homepage, click Paths.
  2. On the right of a path, click Edit pen.png.
  3. If there is more than one path session, select a session in the Sessions sidebar.
  4. At the top left of the Enroll learners section, click on the current group.
  5. Select a new group.
  6. On the bottom right, click CONFIRM.

Change the main instructor of a path session

You can add one of the following users as main instructor to a path session:

  • Members of the path session’s owner group (the session's owner group is located on the top left side of the session window).
  • Administrators of the owner group’s parent groups.
  • Users enrolled in the path session.
  • If the path session is shared to the Catalog of a group, members of that group.

If you are unable to add a user as an instructor, verify that the user belongs to the path session's owner group.

The new main instructor will be able to edit or delete the path session, even if they don’t belong to the owner group of the path session.

  1. At the top of the homepage, click Paths.
  2. On the right of a path, click Edit pen.png.
  3. If there is more than one path session, select a session in the Sessions sidebar.
  4. At the top of the Enroll learners section, click on the user.
  5. Select a new user.
  6. On the bottom right, click CONFIRM.

Add instructors to a path session

You can add the following users as instructors to a path session:

The instructors will be able to edit or delete the path session, even if they don’t belong to the owner group of the path session.

  1. At the top of the homepage, click Paths.
  2. On the right of a path, click Edit pen.png.
  3. If there is more than one path session, select a session in the Sessions sidebar.
  4. At the top right of the Enroll learners section, click on the number of instructors (if no instructor is selected, click Add Instructor(s)).
  5. Select users.
  6. On the bottom right, click CONFIRM.

You can remove instructors by unselecting the users in step 5.

Require validation of open access registrations

You can require that the path session instructors (or managers) validate learners' registration for path sessions.

  1. At the top of the homepage, click Paths.
  2. On the right of a path, click Edit pen.png.
  3. If there is more than one path session, select a session in the Sessions sidebar.
  4. Enable Require validation of open access registrations.
  5. Select if the validation is completed by Instructors or Managers.

By enabling this option, you will add a validation step for the learners enrollment. From the path page, learners will be able to request enrollment. An email will be sent to the instructors (or the managers, determined by the setting), where they will be able to validate or decline the request. No validation will be necessary if you directly enroll your learners.

Limit the number of seats in a path session

You can limit the maximum number of seats available for self-enrollment within a path session.

  1. At the top of the homepage, click Paths.
  2. On the right of a path, click Edit pen.png.
  3. If there is more than one path session, select a session in the Sessions sidebar.
  4. Enable Limit the number of seats for this path session.
  5. Enter the number of seats that you would like to limit the path session to.

This option is only available if the path session has been added to the catalog of a group.
