Change the instructors of a path session

Coaches and group admins can select any user in their group as a path instructor. Platform admins can select any user as a path instructor.

The main instructor and the co-instructors have the same permissions. This is why they are sometimes referred to as "instructors", indifferently.

Change the main instructor of a path session

Coaches and group admins can select any user in their group as the main instructor. Platform admins can select any user as a the main instructor.

The new main instructor will be able to edit or delete the path session, even if they don’t belong to the owner group of the path session.

If you create a session, you will be automatically added as main instructor of that session.

  1. At the top of the homepage, click Paths.
  2. On the right of a path, click pen.svg Edit.
  3. If there is more than one path session, select a session in the Sessions sidebar.
  4. Under Enroll learners, in the Settings section, click Configure settings.
  5. In the Main instructor section, click on the name of the main instructor.
  6. Select a new main instructor.
  7. On the bottom right, click Confirm.

The co-instructors will be able to edit or delete the path session, even if they don’t belong to the owner group of the path session.

  1. At the top of the homepage, click Paths.
  2. On the right of a path, click pen.svg Edit.
  3. If there is more than one path session, select a session in the Sessions sidebar.
  4. Under Enroll learners, in the Settings section, click Configure settings.
  5. In the Co-instructor(s) section, click on the number of instructors (if no instructor is selected, click Add Instructor(s)).
  6. Select users.
  7. On the bottom right, click Confirm.

You can remove co-instructors by unselecting the users in step 5.
