Enable email notifications
If you don’t receive important platform notifications (for instance: session invitations), check that your email notifications are enabled in your profile.
- At the top right, click your user icon.
- Select Personal settings.
- On the top right, click the Notifications tab.
- Enable the first option: Enable email notifications.

Update email notifications
- At the top right, click your user icon.
- Select Personal settings.
- On the top right, click the Notifications tab.
- Click the title of a subsection to expand it.
- Toggle the notification on or off.
The email notifications also have options in the footer to unsubscribe from similar notifications or unsubscribe from all notifications (this does not include mandatory platform notifications).
About email notifications frequency
We apply a minimum delay between two consecutive email notifications, which depends on the type of notification. This is done to avoid the feeling of spam: we believe it’s a better experience to receive one email listing 10 path invitations, than 10 different notification emails, within the same day.
There are three types of frequencies:
- Direct mentions and answers: not more frequent than every 5 minutes (this feels like real time, and is commonly used by similar apps).
- Likes: not more frequent than every hour (at minute 30).
- All the rest: daily (at 3pm).
