Edit the main author of a path
Platform admins and the current main author can change the main author of a path.
The new main author must be an admin, editor, or contributor in at least one group.
When a user creates a path, they become its main author. You can add co-authors to share edition permissions.
If the user who was the main author is deleted, they are automatically replaced.
- At the top of the homepage, click Paths.
- On the right of a path, click
Edit.
- On the top, above the path image, click on the name of the current main author.
- Select a user.
- On the bottom right, click Confirm.
Add co-authors to a path
Main authors and co-authors can add co-authors to a path if they have the editor, contributor, or admin role in one of the new co-author’s groups.
Any user can be added as a co-author.
Co-authors can access the statistics page of a path, but they will see data only if they have the coach or admin role in the group of the related users.
Similarly, if a co-author creates a session, they automatically become the instructor of that session (they are given instructor rights and given the right to edit that session), but they can enroll users or add the session to the group catalog only if they have the coach or admin role.
Co-authors have the same permissions as the main author on a path, but are not replaced if they are deleted.
- At the top of the homepage, click Paths.
- On the right of a path, click
Edit.
- On the top, above the path image, click + Add Co-author(s).
- If the path already has co-authors, click on the number of current co-authors.
- Select users.
- On the bottom right, click Confirm.
Remove a co-author from a path
Main authors and co-authors can remove co-authors from a path.
- At the top of the homepage, click Paths.
- On the right of a path, click
Edit.
- On the top right, above the path image, click on the number of current co-authors.
- Unselect users.
- On the bottom right, click Confirm.
