Edit the overview of a path

  • Updated

Admins, editors, and contributors can edit paths for which they are the main author or a co-author.

Admins and editors can edit paths that belong to their group. Admins can also edit paths that belong to its subgroups. Platform admins can edit any path.

To edit the owner group, source language, or options such as linear progression, see Edit the settings of a path. To add, reorder, or delete steps and actions, see Edit the contents of a path.

Edit the cover image of a path

  1. At the top of the homepage, click Paths.
  2. On the right side of the path row, click pen.svg Edit.
  3. Hover over the middle of the path image and click Modify.
  4. Click an image from the image library, then click Select at the bottom right, or click upload.svg UPLOAD YOUR IMAGE (980x550 PIXELS OR LARGER) at the bottom left. An uploaded image must be at least 980x550 pixels. See Image sizes and ratios for the recommended format.

The cover image appears:

  • On the path homepage.
  • On path thumbnails, such as on dashboards, in the newsfeed, in search results, and in path steps.
  • In the mobile app, cropped to fit each view.

See Image sizes and ratios for how each view displays it. Without a cover image, the platform shows the medal image from the image library.

The title also appears in email notifications about the path, such as the enrollment and completion emails. Certificates show the title of the path at the time they are issued: changing the title does not update certificates already issued.

If automatic skill tagging is active, changing the title or description updates the skills added by AI.

Edit the skills of a path

See Add skills to a path.

Skills appear on the path homepage, with their level if they have one, and in the Skills search filter. Adding a skill to a path also adds the path to the recommended training for that skill.

Edit the tags of a path

See Add a tag to a path.

Tags appear in the Tags search filter, in the Tags filter of path statistics, and in the Tags column of Paths reports. Search also looks at the tags of a path.
