Add a cheat sheet to a course

Create a new cheat sheet

  1. At the top of the homepage, click Courses.
  2. On the right of the course row, click pen.svg Edit.
  3. In the left sidebar, below the list of existing activities, click Add a cheat sheet.
  4. Click Create cheat sheet.
  5. Enter a title.
  6. In the section Content, enter the text.
    • If you want to include images in the text, click Insert a document in the toolbar at the top of the editor, or add the document as a separate activity. Copy-pasting text containing images directly in the editor can lead to display problems.

You can also add tags to the cheat sheet.

Import an existing cheat sheet

Authors can import cheat sheets on which they have the main author or co-author role. Platform admins can import any cheat sheet.

Editing an imported cheat sheet will edit all courses including it. If you wish to edit only the current cheat sheet, click 3Dots.svgDuplicate this sheet in the top right corner of the sheet’s thumbnail in the left sidebar, and remove the original cheat sheet.   1. At the top of the homepage, click Courses.
  2. On the right of the course row, click pen.svg Edit.
  3. In the left sidebar, below the list of existing activities, click Add a cheat sheet.
  4. Click Import existing cheat sheets.
  5. Select the cheat sheets.
  6. On the top left, click IMPORT.

Allow learners to download a cheat sheet

You can allow learners to download a cheat sheet in PDF format.

  1. At the top of the homepage, click Courses.
  2. On the right of the course row, click pen.svg Edit.
  3. In the left sidebar, click on the cheat sheet.
  4. At the bottom of the cheat sheet, check the box This cheat sheet will be downloadable by the learners.

When learners play the activity, they will now have a download button at the bottom of the cheat sheet.
