Tags are keywords that you can attach to courses or paths. You can use them to:
- Select multiple courses or paths at once.
- Analyze training statistics.
- Filter content in the catalog to find what you need.
- Create curated catalogs on the homepage or within group pages.
Create a tag
Platform admins can create tags.
- At the top of the homepage, click Tags.
- At the top right, click
.
- On the top right of the list, click Add tag.
- Enter a tag name.
- On the bottom right, click Add tag.
Group admins and editors can also create tags directly from the edition screen of a course or path:
- Open one of your courses or paths in the edition screen.
- In the Tags section, click
Add tags.
- On the bottom left, click
.
- Enter a name.
- On the bottom right, click Add tag.
If editors cannot create tags on your platform, contact your Solution Architect (SA). The feature may have been deactivated in agreement with your platform administrators.
For optimal platform performance, we recommend creating no more than 100,000 tags in a single standard platform. See Limitations for more information.
Configure main tags
Platform administrators can set main tags.
Main tags are the only type of tags displayed when you click Tags at the top of the homepage. We recommend a maximum of 10 main tags to keep the chart readable.
- In the left sidebar, hover over the platform group (the one with a golden crown), then click
Settings.
- If
Settings doesn’t appear in your sidebar, click on the platform group first, then click
Settings in the top right of the main section.
- If
- In the left sidebar, click Keywords → Tags.
- On the right of the name of a tag, click ★ Set as main tag.
Click ★ again to turn it back into a regular tag.
Edit a tag
Platform administrators can edit tags.
- In the left sidebar, hover over the platform group (the one with a golden crown), then click
Settings.
- If
Settings doesn’t appear in your sidebar, click on the platform group first, then click
Settings in the top right of the main section.
- If
- In the left sidebar, click Keywords → Tags.
- Click on the name of a tag.
- Enter the new name
- At the bottom right, click Save.
Delete a tag
Platform administrators can delete tags.
- In the left sidebar, hover over the platform group (the one with a golden crown), then click
Settings.
- If
Settings doesn’t appear in your sidebar, click on the platform group first, then click
Settings in the top right of the main section.
- If
- In the left sidebar, click Keywords → Tags.
- On the right of a tag, click
Delete.
- Click Confirm.
