Custom user links are buttons with predefined icons that are displayed at the top of the homepage newsfeed for specific users. When clicked, they redirect learners to a defined URL.
Custom user links can only be created and managed via the API. They cannot be configured through the user interface.
Using the API, you can:

Create a custom link with:
- A predefined icon (see Available icons for custom user links)
- A display title
- A target URL
- Assign custom links to individual users. Custom user links will be displayed at the top of these users' homepage news feeds.
- Update custom links.
- Delete custom links.
Available icons for custom user links
You can assign one of the following predefined icons to each custom user link:
