Block email reminders during weekends

Platform admins have the option to block specific email reminders from being sent during weekends, specifically from Saturday at 12 AM to Monday at 12 AM Central European Time (UTC+1). This block applies to a fixed list of email reminders, detailed below, and affects all groups in the platform.

Blocked emails will not be saved for later delivery. They will be permanently lost.

List of blocked emails

The following email notifications will be blocked during the specified hours:

  • Path session inactivity reminders: Sent to learners enrolled in a path session if they have been inactive on the platform for more than 2 days, and then again after 7 days.
  • Path session ending reminders:
  • Onsite classroom reminders: Sent to learners and classroom trainers 24 hours before a classroom slot with a physical meeting is scheduled to begin.
  • Training space invitation reminders: Sent to users who have been invited to the platform but have not activated their account after 7 days, and then again after 14 days.
  • Certification expiry reminders: Sent to coaches of the certificate's owner group 1 week before the certificate's expiration date.
  • (Only for platforms with the Skills solution) Self-assessment reminders: Sent to learners when they have skills pending self-evaluation.

All other emails will be sent as usual.

Rare server delays may cause emails scheduled for Friday night to be delivered after Saturday 00:00 Central European Time (CET).
