Add a tag to a course

Admins and editors can add tags to courses. This requires having created tags first.

We recommend adding no more than 20 tags to each course. See Limitations →

Add tags to a course

Admins, editors, and the course’s main author and co-authors, can add up to 20 tags to a course.

1. At the top of the homepage, click Courses.
2. Click on a course.
3. In the section Tags, click .
4. Select tags.
5. On the bottom right, click Select tags.

To remove tags from the course, click X on the right of the name of the tag.

Add tags to a course activity

Admins, editors, and the course’s main author and co-authors, can add up to 20 tags to cheat sheets and questions (but not documents) of a course, on top of the course tags.

1. At the top of the homepage, click Courses.
2. Click on a course.
3. In the left sidebar, click on a cheat sheet or a question.
4. In the section Tags, click Add tags.
5. Select tags.
6. On the bottom right, click Select tags.

To remove tags from the activity, click X on the right of the name of the tag.

Add a tag to multiple courses

Platform administrators can add tags to several courses at once.

1. In the left sidebar, hover over the platform group (the one with the golden crown), then click Settings.
   • If Settings doesn’t appear in your sidebar, click on the platform group first, then click Settings in the top right of the main section.
2. In the left sidebar, click Keywords → Tags.
3. In the column Courses, click the number.
4. Select the courses.
5. On the bottom right, click Confirm.

You can remove tags by unselecting courses at step 5.
