💡 If you can't upload your Document, you can compress the file and upload the .zip archive.

Add a Document from your computer

  1. In the course editor, click the Document icon
  2. Drag-and-drop your document from your files explorer, or click SELECT A FILE
💡 Large files tend to take up to a few minutes to upload. As soon as the conversion is done, you will receive an email notification.

Add a web document

You can share some documents (Youtube, Vimeo, Dailymotion videos or Linkedin Slideshare documents) via their URL. To upload these documents, use the Paste a web link section.

For other documents, you can use an embed link by using the Paste an embed code section.

Make a Document downloadable

⚠️ Only PDF or XLS files can be downloaded by Learners (DOC and PPT files are converted into PDF when uploaded).

💡 Learners can save images by right-clicking the image and clicking Save as.

Upon uploading the document, select This Document will be downloadable by Learners.

To make an existing Document downloadable:

  1. Preview the document and access the Settings section
  2. Select This Document will be downloadable by Learners

Learners will be able to download the Document by clicking the download icon on the top of the page.

See the documents added on the platform

From the Home Page, click on the paperclip icon in the top right corner, next to your name, and then click on the "Reuse" tab.

You can then filter documents by their type, date added, name, or search the document name with the magnifying glass icon.

💡 The platform owner and platform administrators can see a complete list of all the documents that were added on the platform (within courses, in the newsfeed, in questions or even profile pictures). Other users can only see the documents they added themselves, or documents that were shared to their group in the newsfeed, or that they have seen at least once in a course.

Delete a document

You can delete a document by clicking on the cross icon right to its name, in the "Add document" tab:

  1. From the Home Page, click on the paperclip icon in the top right corner, next to your name
  2. Click on the "Reuse" tab
  3. Click on the cross icon right to the document's name
⚠️ If the document is being used in a course, you must first delete the activity in the course, and then you should be able to delete the document following the steps mentioned above.
