Notifications (email and push)

  • Updated

You can find the detailed list of all notifications in the table here. Here are the direct links to some useful filters:

That table is hosted outside our knowledge base, to allow for multifaceted search, custom filtering and sorting.

Enable email notifications

If you don’t receive important platform notifications (for instance: session invitations), check that your email notifications are enabled in your profile.

  1. At the top right, click your user icon.
  2. Select Personal settings.
  3. On the top right, click the Notifications tab.
  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Unmute all notifications.

This will open the valve for incoming notifications, but does not force-enable all optional notifications: click on the different sections in the page to see which ones are enabled.

Update email notifications

  1. At the top right, click your user icon.
  2. Select Personal settings.
  3. On the top right, click the Notifications tab.
  4. Click the title of a subsection to expand it.
  5. Toggle the notification on or off.

The email notifications also have options in the footer to unsubscribe from similar notifications or unsubscribe from all notifications (this does not include mandatory platform notifications).

About email notifications frequency

We apply a minimum delay between two consecutive forum email notifications, which depends on the type of notification. This is done to avoid the feeling of spam: we believe it’s a better experience to receive one email listing 10 comments, than 10 different notification emails, within the same day.

There are three types of frequencies:

To avoid duplicates, if an action in the platform triggers more than one of the notifications listed above, only the first one is sent.
