On mobile, only notifications from the past 30 days are visible, while older notifications remain accessible on the web. This ensures a smoother experience by prioritizing more recent activities, as well as improving performance (especially in fluctuating network conditions). If needed, you can find notifications up to 6 months old in your web platform.

About email notifications frequency
We apply a minimum delay between two consecutive forum email notifications, which depends on the type of notification. This is done to avoid the feeling of spam: we believe it’s a better experience to receive one email listing 10 comments, than 10 different notification emails, within the same day.
There are three types of frequencies:
- Direct mentions and answers: not more frequent than every 5 minutes (this feels like real time, and is commonly used by similar apps). This corresponds to the following email notifications:
- Likes: not more frequent than every hour (at minute 30). This corresponds to the following email notifications:
- All the rest: daily (at 3pm). This corresponds to the following email notifications:
To avoid duplicates, if an action in the platform triggers more than one of the notifications listed above, only the first one is sent.
