Edit the platform’s general settings

Who can use this feature?

  • Platform administrators can edit the platform's cover picture, logo, name, welcome message, video presentation, favicon and additional information.

To edit the general settings of the platform:

  1. In the left sidebar, hover over the platform group, then click gear.svg Settings.
    • If settings.svg Settings doesn’t appear in your sidebar, click on the platform group first, then click settings.svg Settings in the top right of the main section.
  2. Click on a field to edit it.

Cover picture is the picture at the top right of the platform's homepage and at the top of the platform group settings page. You can leave it empty to use one of our default images. See the cover picture size and ratio recommendation →

Custom logo is the logo at the top left of the screen. Users can click on it from any page to go back to the homepage (or to another page you defined in the Advanced settings). See the logo size and ratio recommendation →

Name is the name of your workspace (also known as "platform group"), and the one displayed in the tab of your web browser.

Welcome message is the text displayed at the top of the right side panel when selecting the platform group in the homepage.

Favicon is the icon displayed in the tab of your web browser.

Additional information is a string of text that you can use to store information about the group (for example: registration number, or ID in another tool). It will be available in the CSV exports and through the API, but will not be displayed elsewhere.
