Log in as another user

  • Updated

Platform administrators can log in as another user to troubleshoot issues or refine platform settings. This feature is disabled by default. To enable it, contact your Client Success Partner (CSP).

All actions are recorded while you're logged in as another user. The logs are available on request.

Log in as another user

You can only log in as active users, not deleted or unregistered ones, and not while already logged in as another user. Login issues, such as a password reset prompt, can't be reproduced: you're logged in immediately.

If you complete an onboarding guide while logged in as a user, the user won't see it again.

  1. At the top of the homepage, click Users.
  2. Under Actions of the user, click 3Dots.svg.
    • You can also start from the user's profile.
  3. Select Login as this user.
  4. Read the legal notice, then enter the reason under Why are you logging in as this user?. The reason is logged.
  5. Click Generate login link.
  6. Click the link. You're logged out of your account and logged in as the user.
    • To stay logged in to your own account, click Copy link instead, then paste the link into a private window.

On mobile, the 360Learning app opens logged in as the user if it's installed. Otherwise, the mobile browser opens.

If the user must agree to a privacy policy, moderation charter, or terms of use at their next login, you don't see that prompt while logged in as them. The user still sees it at their next login.

Log out of the user's account

Log out as usual, then log in with your own account.
