Edit the email address of a user

Admins can edit the email address for active users.

Restrictions for editing emails:

• Invited status: You cannot edit the email address of a user who was invited via email and is still in "invited" status. These users must first complete their registration form and activate their account before their email can be modified.
• Free trial accounts: You cannot edit the email address of a user on a Free Trial account.

To edit the email address of a user:

1. In the left sidebar, click on the group of the user.
2. At the top, click Users.
3. Optionally, click on Current members → All in the left sidebar to see all group members. You can also click Search at the top of the list to search for specific users.
4. Click on a user.
5. On the right of the email, click Edit.
6. Enter the new value.
7. On the bottom right, click Save.

The user will receive a notification suggesting they reset their password.

Visibility of the email address

The email address of a user can be seen by the following roles:

• Platform administrators (from any subsection of the platform displaying the user, and the corresponding exports, or the section Users of the settings of a group).
• Admins of the user’s group (from any subsection of the platform displaying the user, and the corresponding exports, or the section Users of the settings of a group).
• Coaches of the user’s group (from any subsection of the platform displaying the user, and the corresponding exports, or the section Users of the settings of a group).
• Editors of the user’s group (from any subsection of the platform they have access to, and the corresponding exports, if the user has played at least one of their courses or path sessions).
• Contributors of the user’s group (from any subsection of the platform they have access to, and the corresponding exports, if the user has played at least one of their courses or path sessions).
• Managers of the user (from the homepage > Users > My Team, and the corresponding exports).
• Session instructors (from the homepage > Paths > Path sessions, and the corresponding exports, if the user is registered to the session).
