Enable Go1 course retakes with 360Learning

If you want your learners to periodically retake a course—whether for compliance training or to refresh their knowledge— the following steps ensure that their progress and new completion are recorded in 360Learning each time they retake the Go1 course:

1. Set up course retakes in 360Learning.
2. Re-enroll learners in Go1.

Step 1: Set up course retakes in 360Learning

This step is performed in 360Learning.

To prompt learners to retake the course periodically, follow these steps:

1. Add the Go1 course to a path with the mandatory replay option enabled:
   In your 360Learning platform, platform admins, group admins, and authors can create paths that include Go1 courses, as long as the Go1 courses are synchronized through the Go1 connector in their group.
   • Enabling the mandatory replay option ensures learners are prompted to retake the course as required.
   • If you want learners to earn a certificate every time they successfully complete the path with the Go1 course, add a certificate to the path.
2. Enroll learners in the path:
   Platform admins, group admins, and coaches can enroll learners in the path using one of these options:
   
   • Create one path session with the automatic re-enrollment feature, and enroll learners in the session.
   • Create a new path session for each period and enroll learners in each session.

Step 2: Re-enroll learners in Go1

This step is performed in Go1.

To ensure accurate tracking on 360Learning whenever a learner retakes a course, they must be re-enrolled in the course on Go1. Re-enrollment archives old learning records on Go1 while retaining historical data in 360Learning. You have two options for re-enrollment on Go1, depending on whether you prefer to handle it yourself (admin-initiated re-enrollment) or want the learner to take action (learner-initiated re-enrollment):

• Admin-initiated re-enrollment:
  Go1 admins can re-assign the course to learners directly on Go1. This will reset their progress in Go1 and send a new completion record to 360Learning once the learner finishes the course. For more information, see Go1 official documentation.
  

  Note: Learners will receive a notification from Go1 when the course is reassigned.

• Learner-initiated re-enrollment:
  If learners see a message on Go1 stating the course is completed, they must click Do you need to re-enrol? to reset their enrollment and refresh progress.
  

  Important: If learners click Review Learning or Dismiss screen, this will not create a new attempt on 360Learning. Re-enrollment is required.
