By default, posts in course forums, path forums, and group newsfeeds are automatically translated into the language set in your profile.
All users can:
- View the original version of any post.
- Filter course forum posts to show only those written in the course language.
- Turn off automatic translation.
See the original post
To see a post in its original language:
- Below the message, clickĀ Show original.
- To show the translated version again, click Show translation.
Show only messages posted in the course language
To filter the course forum to show only the messages posted in the language of the course:
- At the top right of a course forum, click Filter.
- Enable Only show comments posted in the selected language.
Disable automatic translation
If you prefer to read all messages in the language they were originally posted:
- Below the message, to the right of Show original, click
Translation settings.
- DisableĀ Translate.
