Users who can edit a course can add an audio file to a cheat sheet, a question, or an opinion question, but not to a document, SCORM, LTI, or custom activity. Learners can play, pause, and seek the audio, and change its volume and playback speed. Listening to it doesn't count toward completing the activity, and it isn't included when learners download a cheat sheet as a PDF.
The file must be an .mp3, .m4a, or .aac file encoded in MP3 or AAC, up to 6 GB. Each activity can have one audio, along with an image, video, or document. A cheat sheet can contain only an audio.
Add audio to an activity
- At the top of the homepage, click Courses.
- On the right of the course row, click
Edit.
- In the left sidebar, click a cheat sheet, a question, or an opinion question.
- Below Add an audio, click Add.
- Select a file from Import, reuse one from Reuse, or pick one from Google Drive or OneDrive.
To replace, rename, or remove the audio, hover over it in the activity, then click Change media, Edit media, or Remove media.
Each language of a translated course can have its own audio.
