Create skill assessment requests

This feature requires the Skills solution. For more information, contact your Customer Success Partner (CSP).

Admins and managers can create skill assessment requests to ask users to self-assess on all the mandatory skills of their current jobs.

Managers can create skill assessment requests for their managees. Admins can create skill assessment requests for members of their group.

Creating a skill assessment request will send an email notification to all selected users, and set the status of all their mandatory skills to "To assess". If a selected user hasn’t added all their mandatory skills to their profile, they are automatically added first.

Creating a skill assessment request will not change skill gaps, but will change the skill assessment status pie chart in the skills dashboard.

1. At the top of the homepage, click Skills.
   • Managers: click General analytics in the left sidebar, then click the Team’s skills tab.
2. At the bottom of the section Skill assessment status, click Create assessment request.
3. Click All expected skills.
4. Select users and click Continue at the bottom right.
   • Managers will see their managees. Admins will see members of their group.
5. Optional: in Schedule request, select the date when you want the reminder to be sent.
6. In Closing date, select the date beyond which assessments will not be included in the stats for this request.
7. At the bottom right, click Send request.

See the details of an assessment request

Admins and managers can see the details of assessment requests they created.

1. At the top of the homepage, click Skills.
   • Managers: click General analytics in the left sidebar, then click the Team’s skills tab.
2. Scroll down to the section Assessment requests.

The table shows one line per assessment request, with the following columns:

• Start date
• End date
• Status (Scheduled/Ongoing/Closed)
• Skills
• Learners
• Assessment completion

You can click on a skill assessment to see the details per user.

You can then click on a user to see the stats per skill.
