See the details of a user skill

  • Updated

This feature requires the Skills solution. For more information, contact your Customer Success Partner (CSP).

You can check the level of a user on a skill, the related skills, the courses and paths tagged with that skill that the user completed, and the past events related to the skill in the profile of a user.

  • Any user can access their skill details in their profile.
  • Managers can access the skill details of their managees.
  • Admins can access the skill details of the members of their group.
  • Platform admins can access the skill details of all users in the platform.

The steps below show how to access your own skill details. To access another user's skill details, navigate to their profile first, then follow the same steps within their profile.

View the courses and paths completed by the user

  1. At the top right, click on your profile picture → Skills.
  2. Click on a library.
  3. Click on a skill.
  4. In the right side panel, scroll down and click on the section Completed trainings.

The Completed trainings section will display the last 3 paths or courses completed, that are tagged with the skill, along with the date when they completed it.

At the bottom of the section, click View all to display all courses and paths tagged with the skill, that the user completed.

View the history of a skill

  1. At the top right, click on your profile picture → Skills.
  2. Click on a library.
  3. Click on a skill.
  4. In the right side panel, scroll down and click on the section History.

The History section will display the following events:

  • Who added the skill, and when.
  • Who re-added the skill (if it had been removed previously).
  • When the user self-assessed the skill.
  • When the admin or the manager validated (or changed) the assessment.

If multiple managers or admins validated the same skill, all validation events appear in the history. Only the most recent validation acts as the current skill level.
