Classrooms are live events of your paths. They can be virtual or onsite, and have several slots.
Inviting learners to a classroom requires three steps:
- Add a classroom step to a path (current article), which handles:
- Adding a classroom step to a path.
- Adding default messages and attachments to the step for all path sessions.
- Add a classroom slot to a path session, which handles:
- Creating virtual or onsite classroom slots.
- Creating additional slots.
- Managing dates for each slot.
- Adding trainers.
- Adding slot-specific messages and attachments.
- Register users to classroom slots, which handles:
- Registering learners to slots.
- Unregistering learners from slots.
- Switching users around slots.
- Allowing learners to self-register to slots.
We will use the term classroom step to refer to a classroom in the path editor, and classroom slot to refer to a specific classroom event in a path session.
Add a classroom step to a path
- At the top of the homepage, click Paths.
- On the right of a path, click Edit .
- Below the list of steps, on the right of Add a step, click Classroom.
- Enter the title of the classroom.
- At the bottom right, click CONFIRM.
You can then set up the classroom slot in each session of the path, independently.

Those changes will be visible in all path sessions, immediately.
- At the top of the homepage, click Paths.
- On the right of a path, click Edit .
- In the list of steps, at the top right of the classroom step, click → Edit.
- Change the value of the field(s).
- At the bottom right, click CONFIRM.
Add a message or attachments to a classroom step
You can add a message and attachments to the classroom step in the path. Those will be added by default to the classroom slots.
You can also add a message and attachments specific to a classroom slot. See Add a message or attachments to a classroom slot.
The message and attachments for the classroom step are displayed in the homepage of the path session.
Add a message
- At the top of the homepage, click Paths.
- On the right of a path, click Edit .
- In the list of steps, at the top right of the classroom step, click → Edit.
- At the bottom, check Message.
- Enter the message.
- At the bottom right, click CONFIRM.
Add attachments
- At the top of the homepage, click Paths.
- On the right of a path, click Edit .
- In the list of steps, at the top right of the classroom step, click → Edit.
- At the bottom, click Attachment.
- Click OR SELECT A FILE, or click the Reuse section at the top to reuse an existing file in the platform.
- At the bottom right, click CONFIRM.
