Admins can identify which skills lack content so that learners can upskill.
For skill gap statistics by user, job, or library, see Track skills statistics.
The dashboard refreshes every 6 hours. After tagging a course or path with a skill, changes may take up to 24 hours to appear.
View content gap for the platform
Platform admins can identify content gap across the entire platform.
- At the top of the homepage, click Skills.
- Below Skills dashboard, click the Content gap tab.
The table lists all skills where learners cannot find content to upskill. The Content availability column has three possible values:
- Not addressed: no courses or paths are available for this skill. Learners are blocked from upskilling.
- Partially addressed: some courses or paths cover the skill, but not all levels. This happens when a course is tagged with a skill but without a level, or when only certain levels are covered.
- Addressed: all levels of the skill are covered by at least one course or path.
Click on a skill in the table to see, for each level:
- The number of users with a skill gap at that level.
- The number of content items linked to that level.
You can filter the table by Skill, Library, or Content availability.
At the top, summary cards show the count of Not addressed and Partially addressed skills. Click View affected skills on a card to filter the table to those skills only.
View content gap for a group
Group admins can identify content gap for their group. This will show only content shared in the group catalog.
- In the left sidebar, click on a group.
- At the top, click Skills.
- Below Skills dashboard, click the Content gap tab.
