Integrate courses from external content providers

  • Updated

This feature requires the Curated Programs Solution. Contact your Account Manager to know more.

You can integrate with the following content providers:

Activate the integration

Contact your CSP or SA to enable the integration for a specific content provider. Once the integration is enabled on your group or platform, you can activate it from the interface.

  1. In the left sidebar, click the platform group
  2. At the top right of the main section, click settings.svg Settings.
  3. In the left sidebar, click Integrations.
  4. Click on the content provider (it should be Inactive).
  5. Fill in the integration form.
  6. On the bottom right, click SETUP INTEGRATION.

You can deactivate the integration by clicking DEACTIVATE on the bottom right.

If a learner starts a course externally (without attempting in 360Learning) and does not finish it before the next connector synchronization, then an "opened attempt" is created on 360learning. This attempt will be closed when the learner has finished the external course and the next connector synchronization has run.

Hide external content from the homepage

By default, third-party content will be displayed on the homepage under a dedicated section. Platform administrators can hide it:

  1. In the left sidebar, click the platform group.
  2. At the top right of the main section, click settings.svg Settings.
  3. In the left sidebar, click Catalog.
  4. Clear the checkbox Display the section(s) from third-party content providers.

You can select the checkbox again to display the sections on the homepage.

Publish external courses in the catalog of a group

Coaches and group admins can add courses from external content providers to the catalog of their group.

The steps are similar to the standard way of publishing courses in a group catalog, but using the filter to display courses from external content providers.

  1. In the left navigation panel, click on a group.
  2. At the top of the group homepage, click Courses.
  3. At the top right, click MORE ACTIONS → Add course(s) to this group.
  4. At the top right of the dialog box, click slider.svg Filter.
  5. Under Provider Source, select External courses only.
  6. At the bottom right, click APPLY.
  7. Under Catalog, select the courses you wish to add to the catalog of the group.
  8. Click SAVE.

The selected courses are published in the group catalog. Group members can now play these courses.

Remove external courses from the catalog of a group

The steps are similar to the standard way of removing courses from a catalog, but using the filter to display only courses from external content providers.

  1. In the left navigation panel, click on a group.
  2. At the top of the group homepage, click Courses.
  3. Above the courses list, click slider.svg Filter.
  4. In the right panel, click Provider Source → External courses only.
  5. For each external course you wish to remove from the group catalog, switch the In catalog toggle to the off Switch (1).svg position.
