Synchronize content from fitforbanking

Platform admins can activate the integration once it’s been enabled by their Solution Architects.

With the fitforbanking connector, you can synchronize your fitforbanking content and statistics to 360Learning.

At activation, the integration will:

  • Synchronize content from fitforbanking to 360Learning.
  • Synchronize statistics for your learners from fitforbanking to 360Learning.

This integration allows you to:

  • Search for fitforbanking courses in 360Learning.
  • Add fitforbanking courses to the groups' catalogs and libraries.
  • Add fitforbanking courses to paths.
  • Manually add tags to fitforbanking courses. These tags persist through each synchronization.
  • Filter fitforbanking content in 360Learning.
  • View learners' statistics on fitforbanking courses in 360Learning.

You can deploy the connector in one or more 360Learning groups.

Fitforbanking integration overview

All fitforbanking content available to your organization is synchronized daily through the fitforbanking API. 360Learning displays them as courses. You cannot modify their original title or description.

When a learner clicks Start on a course homepage in 360Learning, 360Learning redirects them to their fitforbanking platform to access the content, provided they have the required permissions. Fitforbanking is responsible for granting or refusing access to the content.

Every day, learner statistics are sent from fitforbanking to 360Learning. These include:

  • Completion status
  • Progress in percentage
  • Last activity date
  • Score in percentage, applied to all recorded attempts
  • Time spent, applied only to the first recorded attempt

Synchronization schedule and timing

  • Courses are synchronized daily from fitforbanking to 360Learning at 7 AM Central European Time (UTC + 1).
  • Statistics are synchronized daily from fitforbanking to 360Learning at 7:15 AM Central European Time (UTC + 1).

Set up the fitforbanking integration

Step 1: Gather the prerequisites

First, contact your fitforbanking representative to request API access for your fitforbanking platform, along with the following information:

  • Client ID
  • Client secret

Step 2: Contact 360Learning

Email either your Customer Success Partner (CSP) or Solution Architect (SA) with the following information:

  • Integration name: fitforbanking
  • 360Learning group ID(s): Include the IDs of the 360Learning groups where you want to deploy the connector. fitforbanking courses will be added to the catalog and library of those groups.
    • If a group has public subgroups, learners in those subgroups can also access the content in the catalog.
    • You can create a private group for this synchronization.
  • 360Learning author ID: This is the ID of a user with editor or administrator permissions in the group. Once the courses are synchronized, this user will be assigned as the main author of the fitforbanking courses on 360Learning.

Step 3: Activate the integration in 360Learning

Once you receive confirmation that the connector has been enabled on your platform, activate the integration in 360Learning:

  1. In the left sidebar, click the group where the connector is enabled.
  2. At the top right of the main section, click settings.svg Settings.
  3. In the left sidebar, click plug-socket.svg Integrationsfitforbanking.
  4. Enter your Client ID and Client secret.
  5. At the bottom right, click Setup Integration. The platform takes a few minutes to complete the setup.
  6. Click Continue.

Courses will appear in the catalog the following day.

Step 4: Filter fitforbanking content in 360Learning

By default, the synchronization includes all fitforbanking content available to your organization. In 360Learning, you can filter this content by language.

If you deploy the connector in multiple groups, the same external course creates a separate course in each group. Completing that content generates one attempt per group. For users with cross-group statistics visibility, each of those attempts appears in reports, making the completion appear multiple times. To avoid this, configure each group's filters so their synchronized content doesn't overlap.

When you save a filter configuration:

  • Content that no longer matches the selected filters is archived immediately.
  • Content that matches the selected filters remains unchanged.
  • The filters are saved and applied to future synchronizations.

To add a new language filter:

  1. In the left sidebar, hover over the integration group and click settings.svg Settings.
    • If settings.svg Settings doesn’t appear in your sidebar, click on the integration group first, then click settings.svg Settings in the top right of the main section.
  2. In the left menu, click Integrations, and then click fitforbanking.
  3. Under Integration configuration, click Languages.
  4. Click + Add languages.
  5. In the dialog box, select a language.
    • If you select multiple languages, content in any of the selected languages is included in the synchronization (OR logic).
  6. At the bottom right, click Confirm.
  7. At the bottom-right of the language list, click Save.

To remove a language filter:

  1. In the left sidebar, hover over the integration group and click settings.svg Settings.
    • If settings.svg Settings doesn’t appear in your sidebar, click on the integration group first, then click settings.svg Settings in the top right of the main section.
  2. In the left menu, click Integrations, and then click fitforbanking.
  3. Under Integration configuration, click Languages.
  4. Next to the language you wish to remove, click bin.svg Remove.
  5. At the bottom-right of the language list, click Save.
