Copy a course & duplicate an activity

Copy a course

Users with edition permission on a course can copy it. This includes the main author, the co-authors, the authors and admins of the course’s owner group, and the platform administrators.

Copying a course will create a new course, with the same activities and settings as the original one, but with an empty forum and statistics. Both courses are independent. Editing one course will not change the other.

  1. On the top of the homepage, click Courses.
  2. Click on a course.
  3. On the top right, click Make a copy.
  4. Enter the name of the new course.
  5. At the bottom right, click MAKE A COPY.

Duplicate a cheat sheet or a question

You can duplicate cheat sheets or questions to use the original one as a template.

You cannot duplicate Document or Recording activities. For Document activities, a workaround is to create a new activity, and choose Reuse at the top of the popup window.

  1. On the top of the homepage, click Courses.
  2. Click on a course.
  3. In the left sidebar, in the top right corner of an activity, click Duplicate this question/sheet.
