The workflow for adding an OpenSesame course to a path is the following:
Step 1: Add an OpenSesame course to the library of a group
Group admins and authors can add a course synchronized from OpenSesame to their group library.
If the course is already shared in the group library, you can skip this step.
- In the left navigation panel, click on a group.
- At the top of the group page, click Courses.
- At the top right, click MORE ACTIONS → Add course(s) to this group.
- At the top right of the dialog box, click
Filter.
- Under Provider Source, select External courses only.
- At the bottom right, click APPLY.
- Under Library, select the courses you wish to add to the library of the group.
- Click SAVE.
The selected courses are added to the group library.
Authors can now add the external course to their paths.
Step 2: Add the OpenSesame course to a path
Once an OpenSesame course is added to a group library, authors can include them in their paths.
- At the top of the homepage, click Paths.
- On the right side of the path row, click
Edit.
- In the section Build your training, on the right of Add a step, click Course.
- At the top right of the dialog box, click
Filter.
- Under Provider Source, select External courses only.
- Optional: Under External providers, select the external content provider.
- Click APPLY.
- Select one or more courses.
- Click CONFIRM.
You can now enroll learners in the path. The path will make the course available to enrolled learners when they reach the step (linear path) or at enrollment (non-linear path).
If you want learners to periodically retake an OpenSesame course for compliance or knowledge refreshers, see Enable OpenSesame course retakes with 360Learning.
