Track group statistics

The group dashboard has been redesigned! We’ve updated a lot of the information within the group dashboard, added some useful diagrams, and expanded the reporting functionality.

Coaches and administrators will be able to access this dashboard, view the reports with adjustable time periods, and export the data to CSV.

View group statistics

  1. At the top of the homepage, click Groups.
  2. Click on a group.

Within the dashboard, you will find the following reports divided into sections (sections marked with an can also be downloaded as a CSV):

Active users

The number of users that have accessed at least a single course within the specified date range.

Click on the section title to switch the display to Total number of connections, Average connections per active user, Total training time, or Average training time per active user.

Total users  

The number of users within the group (users with pending invitations are not counted).

On the bottom right of the section, click See all for a full list of the users that make up the number displayed in the report.

Subgroups  

The number of subgroups directly linked to the selected group (this only shows the number of subgroups that your user has access to).

On the bottom right of the section, click See all for a full list of all associated subgroups.

Catalog content

The number of Courses, Programs, and Paths that the group has access to.

On the bottom right of the section, click See all for a full list of all Courses, Programs, and Paths associated with the group.

Most engaged Learners

Displays the top 3 most engaged Learners based on number of posts, completed courses, and learning needs.

Users are scored using the criteria below (individual user scores can be viewed in the downloaded CSV):

  • 5 points for each completed course associated with the group
  • 5 points for each Learning Need created for this given group
  • 2 points for each post made that is associated to the group

On the bottom right of the section, click See all to view the engagement of the other Learners.

Role breakdown   Number of users in each role associated with the group.
Reactions evolution The amount of and the type of reactions that have been received on courses within the selected time period.
Activity per device Percentage of users accessing the platform from a Desktop computer or a mobile device.

Average training time and connections per active user

The Active users section can be adjusted to display other reports as well, including the "Average connections per active user" report and the "Average training time per active user" report.

  1. In the top left of the Active users section, click the dropdown arrow Active userschrome_dNzgq5GqsW.png.
  2. Select the report that you would like to view.

Average connections per active user: The average number of connections to the platform per active user within the given period (a “connection” is determined by a user accessing at least a single course).

Average training time per active user: The average amount of time users spent training within the given period (this only accounts for users that have had some training within the given period).

 

You can also use the Active users section to view data for specific subgroups, or compare data between subgroups.

  1. At the top of the Active users section, click Compare subgroups chevronDown.svg.
  2. Select the subgroup(s) that you would like to view.

Adjust the time period of a report

You can adjust the reporting period within certain sections: Active users, Most engaged Learners, Reactions evolution, and Activity per device sections. Adjusting the reporting period will be reflected within the visual report on the dashboard, as well as the downloaded CSV.

  1. Navigate to the report that you would like to adjust.
  2. In the top of the section, click the time period Last 6 months chevronDown.svg.
  3. Select a preset time period or click Custom dates and specify a time period.

When selecting a custom date range, statistics are computed and displayed according to the following rules:

Display data period Rule Example
Less than 12 weeks Statistics are available for full weeks, from Monday to Saturday

You selected Tuesday, 06 December 2022 as the start date and Friday, 16 December 2022 as the end date.

The display data period will be Monday, 05 December 2022 - Sunday, 18 December 2022.

Between 12 weeks and 1 year Statistics are available for full months

You selected Tuesday, 10 May 2022 as the start date and Friday, 16 December 2022 as the end date.

The display data period will be Sunday, 01 May 2022 - Saturday, 31 December 2022.

Between 1 year and 3 years Statistics are available for full quarters

You selected Tuesday, 11 May 2021 as the start date and Friday, 16 December 2022 as the end date.

The display data period will be Thursday, 01 April 2021 - Saturday, 31 December 2022

More than 3 years Statistics are available for full years

You selected Tuesday, 14 May 2022 as the start date and Friday, 16 December 2022 as the end date.

The display data period will be Tuesday, 01 January 2019 - Saturday, 31 December 2022.

Download a CSV

You can download a copy of a report as a CSV. The time period selected in the report will be reflected within the downloaded CSV.

  1. Navigate to the report that you would like to download.
  2. In the top right corner of the section, click download.svg Download.
  3. Click DOWNLOAD.
