Edit the title of a custom field
Platform administrators can edit the title of a custom field.
- In the left sidebar, click on the platform group.
- At the top right of the main section, click Settings.
- In the left sidebar, click Keywords.
- Click on the name of a custom field.
- Edit the title, then click outside the field.
Edit the value of a custom field
Platform administrators can edit the value of a custom field.
- In the left sidebar, click on the platform group.
- At the top right of the main section, click Settings.
- In the left sidebar, click Keywords.
- Click on the name of a custom field.
- Click on a value.
- Edit the value, then click outside the field.
Edit the value of a custom field for a user
Group administrators can edit the value of a custom field in the profile of a user in their group, if the custom field is free input.
- At the top right of the homepage, click CREATE → User.
- In the left sidebar, click Current members.
- Click on a user.
- In the section Custom Fields, click on a custom field.
- Edit the value.
- Click UPDATED.
Change the type of custom field (restricted values or free input)
Custom fields with a restricted list of values will allow group administrators to select a value among a predefined list, when they assign it to their users.
Custom fields with free input will allow group administrators to choose the text for the value of the custom field, when they assign it to their users.
- In the left sidebar, click on the platform group.
- At the top right of the main section, click Settings.
- In the left sidebar, click Keywords.
- Click on the name of a custom field.
- Below the title, activate or deactivate the option.
When switching a custom field from restricted list of values to free input, make sure that all values have at least one assigned user.
Change the format of custom field (text or date)
To change the format of a custom field (from text to date, or from date to text), first delete all values in the custom field:
- In the left sidebar, click on the platform group.
- At the top right of the main section, click Settings.
- In the left sidebar, click Keywords.
- Click on the name of a custom field.
- At the right of every value, click to delete all the values in the custom field.
- Above the name of the custom field, select the new format.
