Play SCORM and eLearning courses on the mobile app

  • Updated

All SCORM files must respect the general compatibility criteria.

SCORM and eLearning standard courses can be played offline on mobile if your platform uses the new player, but automatic download is not available. Learners must manually download the course before going offline. Note that offline play is only available when the course is played from the catalog, from a non-linear path, or as the first step of a linear path containing a single eLearning standard course. The mobile sharing setting for SCORM courses is enabled by default, ensuring mobile compatibility when the SCORM course is active on the platform.

Note: When playing SCORM courses on mobile, the background audio playback for Android devices depends on the manufacturer and is native to Android (not developed by 360Learning).

Activate mobile sharing (if previously deactivated)

  1. At the top of the homepage, click Courses.
  2. Click on a SCORM course.
  3. On the top right, click General settings.
  4. On the bottom, in the section Mobile sharing, click ENABLE.

If this option is not enabled, the mobile app will not attempt to launch the course.
