Play SCORM and eLearning courses on the mobile app

  • Updated

All SCORM files must respect the general compatibility criteria.

Courses created from SCORM or other eLearning files can be played offline on mobile. Automatic download is not available. Learners must download the course manually before going offline.

Offline play is only available when the course is played:

  • From the catalog.
  • From a non-linear path.
  • As the first step of a linear path. The path must contain only one course created from a SCORM or other eLearning file.

Mobile sharing is enabled by default for these courses. They can be played on mobile as long as they are active on the platform.

On Android devices, background audio playback in these courses depends on the manufacturer. This behavior is native to Android. It is not developed by 360Learning.

Activate mobile sharing (if previously deactivated)

  1. At the top of the homepage, click Courses.
  2. Click a course created from a SCORM or other eLearning file.
  3. On the top right, click General settings.
  4. On the bottom, in the section Mobile sharing, click ENABLE.

If this option is not enabled, the mobile app will not attempt to launch the course.
