Edit a Project

Project squad members can change the title, description, deadline, and resources of a Project.

Administrators can also add and remove Project squad members.

Edit the title and description of a Project

  1. In the left sidebar, click Projects.
  2. In the section Projects, click on a Project.
  3. At the top left, click OVERVIEW.
  4. Click on the title or the description.
  5. Enter the new value.
  6. Click outside the field.

Add or remove squad members in a Project

  • Administrators can add or remove squad members of Projects linked to their group.
  • The Project Lead can add or remove squad members from their Project.
  • Platform administrators can add or remove squad members if any Project.

Squad members can contribute to a Project: they can edit the Project, create courses, and manage tasks.

Users added to the Squad of a Project automatically receive the Author role.

  1. In the left sidebar, click Projects.
  2. In the section Projects, click on a Project.
  3. At the top left, click OVERVIEW.
  4. In the section Squad, click Manage squad chrome_lnxpJ6KBV7.png
  5. Select the users you want to add (and unselect the ones you want to remove).
  6. On the bottom right, click CONFIRM.

To remove a squad member who is also the Project Lead, remove them from the position of Project Lead first.

Add a deadline to a Project

Keep squad members aligned with the Project timelines and release date by adding a Project deadline. Notification emails go out to all squad members when a deadline is added or changed.

Squad members can still work on a Project after the deadline.

  1. In the left sidebar, click Projects.
  2. In the section Projects, click on a Project.
  3. Go to the OVERVIEW tab.
  4. Click into the Project Deadline field and select a date.

NOTE: Project deadline notifications only go out to users with email notifications enabled.

Add a deadline to a course

Squad members can add deadlines to courses created within a Project. Squad members can still work on the course once the deadline is expired.

By default, the deadline is displayed in green. It moves to orange when the time gets close, then red when the deadline is overdue.

  1. In the left sidebar, click Projects.
  2. In the section Projects, click on a Project.
  3. At the top left, click CREATE.
  4. At the top right of a course, click Add a deadline to your course.
  5. Select a date.

Add resources to a Project

Resources are assets that you can link to the Project. They can be courses, program templates, Paths, or external files.

  1. In the left sidebar, click Projects.
  2. In the section Projects, click on a Project.
  3. At the top left, click OVERVIEW.
  4. In the section Resources, click Import files or Add object.

To remove a resource, click on the three dots on the right of its name, and select Remove.
