The My personal upskilling plan section on the homepage shows which skills to develop based on your current or target job, and suggests relevant content to help you close each gap.
This section is visible to all users who have a current or target job configured in their skills profile, on platforms with the Skills solution enabled.
Skills selection
The section displays one card per skill where a gap exists between your current level and the level required by your current or target job. Skills tied to your current job appear first, ordered from the widest gap to the smallest. Skills tied to your target job follow, in the same order.
If you have no skill gaps, or no job configured, the section is hidden.
Content recommendation
Clicking a skill card opens a list of courses and paths recommended to help you close that specific gap. Content is ordered by relevance to where you are in your progression:
- Courses and paths tagged with the skill at the level just above your current level
- Courses and paths tagged with the skill at your target level
- Courses and paths not tagged with any skill level
Recommendation accuracy
Recommendations reflect your skills profile at the time of your last profile update. To update your job or skill levels, edit your skills profile. Changes may take up to 6 hours to be reflected in the section.
