We are in the process of planning the move of our main infrastructure from OVH to a new server.
After identifying new risks to platform stability during our beta-testing, we have put our migration plans on hold. We are currently in the process of investigating several options to ensure a risk-free migration and will share an update here on our plans by the end of December.
Moving our server provides us with the scalable, robust infrastructure necessary to continue delivering a high quality of service to you.
- 🔒 Improved Security: Automated security roles, services isolation, IP whitelists, and in-flight data encryption are just a few of the security levels we'll gain or improve.
- 🚨 Disaster Recovery: Fully managed backup service with continuous, consistent backups and point-in-time recovery will enable us to fully redeploy our server in the event of a disaster.
- 📈 Scalability: Through automatic sharding capabilities.
- 🚀 New Features: Based on a more robust infrastructure.
Our data will still be hosted in a GDPR compliant environment in France that will be transparent to you and your users.
After conducting beta-testing for our original migration plan, we found that we would likely need to schedule downtime during the migration. If this is still the case for the updated migration plan, we will be sure to notify you in a timely manner.
