Authors and admins can select courses, paths, or programs that learners must play before starting another course, path, or program. Those conditions are called requirements.
When the training item is shared to the catalog of a learner, those requirements will determine if the learner can see them.
Enrolling users in a path session does not take precedence over requirements: a learner enrolled in a path session must complete the requirements before being able to play the session.
Assigning users to a program session takes precedence over requirements: a learner assigned to a program session will be able to play the session and all its courses, even if they haven’t met the requirements (on either the session or the courses within it).
Validation conditions for requirements:
- For a path: reach 100% progress.
- For a course: reach 100% progress.
- For a program template: reach 100% progress on one of the template’s sessions, and have reached the minimum score on all courses in Exam mode, and passed all assessment steps.
Add requirements to a path
- At the top of the homepage, click Paths.
- On the right of the path, click Edit.
- At the bottom of the edit path page, enable Requirements.
- Click + Path or + Course.
- Select the element(s), then click CONFIRM.
You can remove the elements by clicking on the right of their name in the list, and then selecting remove.
Add requirements to a course
Only clients with 360Learning Team and User Packs offers may add courses to the Catalog.
- At the top of the homepage, click Courses.
- Click on a course.
- On the top right, click Course Settings.
- Under Requirements, click COURSE, PROGRAM TEMPLATE, or PATH.
- Select the elements, then click CONFIRM.
You can remove the elements by clicking X on the right of their name in the list.
Add requirements to a program session
- At the top of the homepage, click Program sessions.
- On the right of the name of a session, click Edit.
- In the section Session general properties, click Advanced options.
- On the right of the line Requirements, click + to add courses, program templates, or paths as requirements.
- Select the items, then click CONFIRM.

- Click on a program template.
- Click Advanced options.
- On the right of the line Requirements, click + to add courses, program templates, or paths as requirements.
- Select the items, then click CONFIRM.
