Assign learners to a program session

Assigning users to a session will force them to play courses in the order defined in the program template. You can let Learners play courses in the order they choose by adding those courses to the Catalog.

To assign users to a session, you must have the following roles:

Assign an existing user

  1. In the left sidebar, click Dashboard
  2. In the left sidebar, click PROGRAM SESSIONS
  3. On the right of a session name, click Edit (pen icon)
  4. In the section Registrations, click + with the number of registered Learners
  5. Select the Learners
  6. On the bottom right, click CONFIRM

Users are then automatically registered to the session, and receive an email notification. Depending on the session start date, they can click the link to either start or preview the program.

Assign a user who doesn’t have an account on the platform

  1. In the left sidebar, click Dashboard
  2. In the left sidebar, click PROGRAM SESSIONS
  3. On the right of a session name, click Edit (pen icon)
  4. In the section Registrations, click + with the number of registered Learners
  5. On the bottom left, click Add email addresses
  6. Enter the email addresses (separated by a comma, or a line break)
  7. On the bottom right, click CONFIRM

Assigning a user who doesn’t have an account on the platform will automatically add them to a group:

  • if the session is not assigned to any group, the user is added to the highest-level group accessible by the person who sent the invitation;
  • if the session is assigned to one group, the user is added to this group;
  • if the session is assigned to several groups, the user is added to the highest-level group.

Users are then automatically registered to the session, and receive an email notification. Depending on the session start date, they can click the link to either start or preview the program.

Assign a Group

Assigning a group will assign all members of that group to the session. New members of the group will automatically be assigned to the session as well.

  1. In the left sidebar, click Dashboard
  2. In the left sidebar, click PROGRAM SESSIONS
  3. On the right of a session name, click Edit (pen icon)
  4. In the section Registrations, click + with the number of registered groups
  5. Select the groups
  6. On the bottom right, click CONFIRM

Users are then automatically registered to the session, and receive an email notification. Depending on the session start date, they can click the link to either start or preview the program.
