Change the default email notification settings for new posts

Platform administrators can change the default email notification settings for new posts. This will apply to new users only.

Posts published by Coaches, Administrators or Instructors

You can change the default notification option A new message is posted by an administrator, a coach or an instructor, in the personal notification settings of users.

This will not change the settings of existing users.

  1. In the left sidebar, click on the platform group
  2. At the top right of the group page, click ... > Settings
  3. In the left sidebar, click Advanced
  4. Check, or uncheck, the box Users receive an email when a new message is posted by a coach, an administrator or an instructor

Posts published by Learners

You can change the default notification option A new message is posted by a learner on a group or a session page, in the personal notification settings of users.

This will not change the settings of existing users.

  1. In the left sidebar, click on the platform group
  2. At the top right of the group page, click ... > Settings
  3. In the left sidebar, click Advanced
  4. Check, or uncheck, the box Email notifications when a message is posted by a learner on a newsfeed are active. Each individual user can deactivate them in their settings.
