Change the default email notification settings for new messages

Platform administrators can change the default email notification settings for new messages. This will apply to new users only.

Messages posted by a Coaches, Administrators or Instructors

You can change the default notification option A new message is posted by an administrator, a coach or an instructor, in the personal notification settings of users.

This will not change the settings of existing users.

  1. In the left sidebar, click on the platform group, then click Settings
  2. Check, or uncheck, the box Users receive an email when a new message is posted by a coach, an administrator or an instructor

Messages posted by Learners

You can change the default notification option A new message is posted by a learner on a group or a session page, in the personal notification settings of users.

This will not change the settings of existing users.

  1. In the left sidebar, click on the platform group
  2. At the top right of the group page, click ... > Settings
  3. Check, or uncheck, the box Email notifications when a message is posted by a learner on a newsfeed are active. Each individual user can deactivate them in their settings.
