Add an opinion question to a course

  • Updated

Opinion questions do not count in the score of the course; their typical use case is for polls and surveys.

You can use two types of opinion questions:

  • multiple choice questions (Learners must check boxes);
  • open questions (Learners must submit a text and/or a document).

Those questions will only be visible in courses within program sessions. If a course with an open-ended question is played via the Catalog, the question will not be visible.

Create an opinion question

  1. Open a course in edition mode
  2. In the left sidebar, click Add a question
  3. In the section Opinion questions, select Multiple choice (opinion) or Open question (opinion)
  4. In the field State your question, enter the title of the question
