Add a privacy policy and a moderation charter

  • Updated

The platform owner can add a privacy policy and a moderation charter to the 360Learning platform and optionally request explicit consent from users when connecting for the first time.

Administrators of private groups can do the same in their groups.

360Learning does not provide a default privacy policy or moderation charter. It is your responsibility to provide your specific legal documents to the users of your organizations, according to GDPR regulations, as well as your own.

You can learn more about our compliance with GDPR in this article.

Add a privacy policy for your organization

Adding a privacy policy to your organization will allow members of the platform group to access it at any time in their personal settings. A link to the privacy policy will also be displayed at the bottom of the login form when invited users initially connect to the platform.

This applies only to users of the platform group. You can also add a privacy policy for a private group.

  4. In the left sidebar, click Advanced.
  5. Scroll down to the section Privacy policy, and enter the link to your privacy policy.
  6. Click anywhere on the page to save the settings.

Users can see the privacy policy document again by clicking on their profile picture then Personal settings on the homepage, then on the bottom of the page Display the privacy policy.

Invited users will also have to check that box in their first login form.
