We’re currently activating skills on a per-platform basis. If you’re a platform admin and would like to use them, contact your Client Success Partner (CSP).
All users can view the difference between the current and expected level of all skills related to their job.
Admins can also view the difference for all users in their group; managers can do the same for their managees.
View your own skills gap
- At the top right, click on your profile picture, then Personal settings.
- Click the tab Career.
- At the top left of the job listing, click:
- Current jobs to view the skills gap for your current jobs.
- Target jobs to view the skills gap for your target jobs.
- Previous jobs to view the skills gap for your previous jobs.
- At the top right of a job, click See details.
A spider chart shows the skills gap for the job using 2 series:
- Expected level: The level expected for the job.
- Current level: The most recent level assessed for the job.
If the job is associated with 3 or more libraries, the skills gap chart is displayed by Library. A library of skills is a collection of related skills. In the skills gap chart, you can:
- Switch to display by skills by clicking Skills at the top left.
- View specific libraries or skills in the chart by clicking Filter at the top right.
If the job is associated with 2 or fewer libraries and more than 2 skills in total, the skills gap is displayed by Skills. You can view specific skills in the spider chart by clicking Filter at the top right.
If the job is associated with 2 or fewer skills in total, there is not enough data to display a skills gap chart for the job.
