Log in without a password

Simplify logging in to multiple platforms and remove the need for passwords!

Once enabled, users who have activated their account by creating their own password will have the option to login without a password. When logging in without a password, they will only need to enter an email address (with or without alias) and they will receive an email containing links to access all of their assigned platforms.

Enable logging in without a password

Platform administrators can enable this feature in the platform settings.

1. In the left sidebar, click on the platform group (with the golden crown at the bottom right of its icon).
2. At the top right of the main section, click  Settings.
3. In the left sidebar, click Advanced.
4. Under Access & Security, enable Activate login without password.

Once enabled, users will see a new option has appeared when logging into the platform: LOGIN WITHOUT A PASSWORD.

With this option available, users will only need to enter their email address (with or without alias) then click SEND ME A LOGIN LINK EMAIL. Doing so will display a message telling them that they will receive an email with links to access all of their assigned platforms.

The user can then quickly access all of their assigned platforms from that message, by clicking on the associated platform link within that email.

Disable logging in without a password

If you’ve customized the URL of your platform, you can force users to login with their email and password, and deactivate the password-free login method.

1. In the left sidebar, click on the platform group (with the golden crown at the bottom right of its icon).
2. At the top right of the main section, click  Settings.
3. In the left sidebar, click Advanced.
4. Under Access & Security, disable Activate login without password.

Following these steps will remove the LOGIN WITHOUT A PASSWORD option from the login screen.
