Skills are keywords that you can attach to courses, programs or paths. You can use them to:
- select courses, program templates, program sessions, or paths in batch;
- analyze training statistics;
- filter training content in the Catalog.
Create a skill
Platform administrators can create skills.
- At the top of the homepage, click Skills.
- At the top right, click +.
- On the top right of the list, click +.
- Enter a name.
- On the bottom right, click ADD SKILL.
Administrators and authors may also create skills directly from the edition screen of a course, program template, or path:
- Open one of your courses, program templates, or paths in the edition screen.
- In the Skills section, click +.
- On the bottom left, click +.
- Enter a name.
- On the bottom right, click ADD SKILL.
If authors cannot create skills on your platform, contact your SA. It’s possible the feature has been deactivated in agreement with your platform administrators.
Set Main skills
Platform administrators can set Main skills.
Main skills are the only type of skills displayed when you click Skills at the top of the homepage. We recommend a maximum of 10 Main skills, to keep the chart readable.
- In the left sidebar of the homepage, click on the platform group.
- At the top right, click
Settings.
- In the left sidebar, click Keywords → Skills.
- On the right of the name of a skill, click ★ Set as main skill.
Click ★ again to turn back into a regular skill.
Add skills to courses
Add several skills to a course
Platform administrators, authors and administrators of the course’s owner group, the course’s main author and co-authors, can add skills to a course.
- At the top of the homepage, click Courses.
- Click on a course.
- In the section Skills, click +.
- Select skills.
- On the bottom right, click SELECT SKILLS.
To remove skills from the course, click X on the right of the name of the skill.
Add several skills to a course activity
Platform administrators, authors and administrators of the course’s owner group, the course’s main author and co-authors, can add skills to activities of a course.
They can add skills to a cheat sheet, question, or document, independently of the course skills.
- At the top of the homepage, click Courses.
- Click on a course.
- In the left sidebar, click on an activity.
- In the section Skills, click +.
- Select skills.
- On the bottom right, click SELECT SKILLS.
To remove skills from the activity, click X on the right of the name of the skill.
Add a skill to several courses
Platform administrators can add skills to several courses at once.
- In the left sidebar of the homepage, click on the platform group.
- At the top right, click
Settings.
- In the left sidebar, click Keywords → Skills.
- In the column Courses, click the number.
- Select the courses.
- On the bottom right, click CONFIRM.
You can remove skills by unselecting courses at step 5.
Add skills to program templates
Add several skills to a program template
Platform administrators, and the creator of a program template, can add skills to a program template.
This will automatically add the skills to the sessions linked to that template, including running sessions.
- At the top of the homepage, click Program templates.
- Click on a program template.
- In the section Skills, click +.
- Select skills.
- On the bottom right, click SELECT SKILLS.
To remove skills from the program template, click X on the right of the name of the skill.
Add a skill to several program templates
Platform administrators can add skills to several program templates at once.
- In the left sidebar of the homepage, click on the platform group.
- At the top right, click
Settings.
- In the left sidebar, click Keywords → Skills.
- In the column Program Templates, click the number.
- Select the program templates.
- On the bottom right, click CONFIRM.
You can remove skills by unselecting program templates at step 5.
Add a skill to an Assessment block
Platform administrators, and the creator of a program template, can add a skill to an Assessment block, in a program template.
This will automatically add the skill to the Assessment block in the sessions linked to that template, including running sessions.
You can only add one skill per Assessment block. If you wish to assess several skills, we recommend you create one Assessment block per skill.
- At the top of the homepage, click Program templates.
- Click on a program template.
- At the bottom of the Assessment, below Skills, click +.
- Select the skill.
- At the bottom right, click SELECT SKILLS.
To remove the skill from the Assessment block, click X on the right of the name of the skill.
Add skills to paths
Add several skills to a path
Platform administrators, authors and administrators of the path’s owner group, the path’s main author and co-authors, can add skills to a path.
- At the top of the homepage, click Paths.
- On the right of the name of a path, click
Edit.
- Below the path description, click + (or ADD A SKILL if there are no skills selected).
- Select skills.
- On the bottom right, click SELECT SKILLS.
To remove skills from the path, click X on the right of the name of the skill.

- At the top right, click

Delete a skill
Platform administrators can delete skills.
- In the left sidebar of the homepage, click on the platform group.
- At the top right, click
Settings.
- In the left sidebar, click Keywords → Skills.
- On the right of a skill, click
Delete.
- Click CONFIRM.
